Making Progress

It’s been a while since I posted an update. Work gets in the way of hobbies some times. I’ve been slowly making progress and getting to the home stretch of the stripping phase. Once I lay in these last strips it’s time to pull the staples and start sanding.

Stern Closed in

I finished the stern strips over the weekend, cut and finished the curve detail. After the jigsaw I used a spoke shave and got much closer faster than on the front. One I was close, I used some aggressive grit sandpaper to finish the detail. Next step is the lay Read more…
